Web Service Selection using Multi Criteria Decision Making

Abstract

Web Services are changing the tech industry. Systems are being migrated to service oriented system form data-oriented system. Many cloud service providers are providing huge number of web services. Finding best subset of service which suits user’s requirements is getting difficult. Even after finding services which fulfills functional requirement, lots of services gets selected which is large in number. It is important to find best services which satisfies user’s objective or subjective requirement. In this work divergent efforts are made to find solution of finding services based on non-functional requirements. In this work a Multi Criteria and Decision-Making technique is applied which is Graph Theory and Matrix Approach which solves the problem of web service selection based on non-functional requirements with objective criteria.
