Abstract: Reinforced concrete structures are an important aspect of the construction infrastructure. This infrastructure is deteriorating, and a considerable number of structures will soon reach the end of their service life. The deterioration of concrete structures is frequently accompanied with ageing mechanisms. The reinforcement corrosion leads to the deterioration and thereby affect the durability of the structure.
