The aim of this thesis is the anlysis of an RC multistory building if eposed to seismic loads. It is constructed from reinforced concrete and designed for gravity loads and seismic loads according to the Indian standard Codes. In the present situations of construction industry, the buildings that are being constructed are gaining significance, in general, those with the best possible outcomes which are referred to members like beams and columns in multi storey R.C structures. This software is mainly used for structures like high-rise buildings, steel and concrete structures. The aim is to analyze a high-rise irregular 23-story building by considering seismic, dead and live loads. The design criteria for high-rise buildings are strength, serviceability and stability. The version of the software used is ETABS 2018. In the present study, we are mainly determining the effects of lateral loads on moments, shear force, axial force, base shear, maximum displacement. Moreover, analysis is done by equivalent static, response spectrum method, time history method, Pushover analysis and comparing the results obtained.en_US
