Three phase multi-pulse AC-DC converters (MPC) are developed to remove power quality problem like poor power factor, ac voltage distortion and rippled dc outputs which are caused due to harmonic injection into the supply. Multi pulse converters can be used to improve power quality at both input ac mains and output dc load. Using different topologies of 3-phase connection of transformers various rectifiers are designed for different phase shifts. Their and power quality aspects are being discussed in this report.en_US
