Abstract: Step-Up Dc-Dc Converters are widely used in large number of applications ranging from fraction of volts to thousands of volts at different power levels.Due to increasing demand of energy and requirement of green energy, use of solar panel has increased .For using Photovoltaic System with connected grid , voltage step-up is required from low voltage level to high voltage level. For step-up of voltage from Photovoltaic system switched Capacitor-Inductor inductor based technique has been developed by combining switched capacitor technique and switched inductor technique which uses only single switch. To get high voltage gain switched Capacitor-Inductor Network has been cascaded with switched inductor based self lift circuit.Ripple content in output voltage and current are low which is necessary for using Photovoltaic system .Comparison between proposed converter and existing converter with regard to voltage gain and stress on switch has been done for suitability of this converter.
