Abstract: Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) or Business incubators or simply incubators are created to facilitate the advancement and expansion of technology-driven start-ups and new enterprises. There is a strong emphasis of governments all across the globe to promote start-ups for creating more jobs and economic development. A Technology Business Incubator (TBI) can be understood as a nurturing ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly those who have innovative technology concepts, which can be converted into products and businesses. Consider a scenario where people possess a ground breaking notion for a technology-driven enterprise, yet lack the essential resources and guidance to bring it to ground reality. In this context, a TBI serves as a supportive organisation where one can transform ideas into viable and prosperous ventures. TBIs generally provide physical workspace equipped with necessary resources, such as office amenities, high-speed internet, computers, and software, thereby eliminating the initial logistical hurdles that entrepreneurs frequently encounter. Additionally, a TBI arranges invaluable mentorship and expert guidance for entrepreneurs at each stage of their entrepreneurial journey. Seasoned and highly experienced individuals are assigned the role of mentors, offering personalized advice and strategies tailored to the specific business idea. Their insights can be the differentiating factor between a struggling start up and a thriving business. Furthermore, alongside mentorship, TBIs foster a culture of learning. They offer a range of training programs, workshops, and seminars encompassing crucial facets of business development. These educational sessions motivate and enlighten entrepreneurs on product development, market research, financial planning, and marketing strategies, thereby equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to navigate the competitive business landscape. One of the major advantages of a TBI lies in the networking opportunities it produces. Entrepreneurs often require investment, collaborators, or clients to propel the growth of their businesses. TBIs function as platforms where start-ups can forge connections with potential investors, industry experts, fellow entrepreneurs, and even future customers. These connections can pave the way for partnerships, funding prospects, and valuable collaborations, all of which are indispensable elements for the success of a business. Ultimately, a Technology Business Incubator exceeds the notion of being a mere physical space; it manifests as a dynamic community where creativity, innovation, mentorship, and collaboration converge to produce a successful entrepreneur. By empowering entrepreneurs to materialize their ideas into tangible and marketable products or services, TBIs make a significant contribution to the growth of the technology industry and the overall economy of the country.
