In this project, we will use a micro-strip patch antenna which is the most suitable type of antenna for this project due to its small size, lightweight, low profile, easy fabrication, and low cost. Moreover, the High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software is used in our project. The reason behind choosing this software is its high accuracy and speed, high performance for computation, automatic solution process, and powerful post-processing capabilities. The radar is capable to detect and perform diagnostics of a state of the human being behind obstacles and in conditions of bad visibility applications. The study results of a low-range surveillance radar based on the autodyne oscillator for a 3-dimensional radar application created with ANSYS Electronic Suite 2020 are presented in this paper. The antenna uses a Rogers RO4350 substrate with a thickness of 3.2 mm and a relative permittivity of 3.66 and works at a frequency of 2.3 GHz. The return loss is less than -15 dB, the VSWR is less than 2 dB gain, and the radiation pattern is directed.en_US
