Abstract: The main objective of this study is to carry out numerical studies on extradosed bridges with the aim of quantifying the effect of geometric parameters such as pylon height, girder depth, span ratio, cable arrangement, etc., on behaviour of the extradosed bridge. In this study the Effects of various parameters such as Pylon height, span ratio, Span to depth ratio, cable arrangement, fixity of girders on the behaviour and design of Extradosed bridge. Recent trends in Extradosed bridges were generated by compiling a database of previously built extradosed bridges. Numerical modelling was done using Csi SAP2000 and Csi Bridge for parametric studies. Results show that each parameter causes a significant effect on the bridge behaviour. At the end recommendations on ranges for various parameters studied based upon the numerical analysis are given.
