| dc.description.abstract | Electro-ceramics have become a crucial component in many modern energy storage devices because of their high dielectric constant and low loss. Due to their piezoelectric, ferroelectric, and electronic device optical capabilities, Materials based on barium titanate (BaTiO3 or BT) with ABO3 perovskite structures can be potentially used in electronic devices. Furthermore, barium titanate-based materials have gained a lot of attention due to their wide variety of applications in the wireless communication, space, and defence sectors. Now a days, BaTiO3-based materials have become a good fit for these applications because of their field-dependent dielectric constant and minimal dielectric loss above its curie temperature. Ferroelectric materials, in general, have a considerable dielectric loss due to piezoelectric granular resonance and domain wall motion. According to experiments, it has been shown that the curie temperature Tc and other electrical characteristics of BaTiO3 may be systematically controlled by using a huge variety of monovalent and aliovalent dopants at the A or B sites. In the present study, the influence of doping a small amount of Strontium(Sr) dopants on the dielectric characteristics and crystal morphologies of BaTiO3 produced using traditional solid-state reaction techniques has been studied. | en_US |
