Abstract: Concrete is one of the most widely utilised building materials on earth. The key advantages of this material are its low manufacturing costs in comparison to other Civil Engineering materials, its long-term durability, and its comparatively simple elaboration due to the availability of fundamental natural elements. Concrete has thus become indispensable in the construction industry for both economic and technological reasons. Many massive infrastructures, such as nuclear power plants, dams, and bridges, age and require special attention to maintain their upkeep and safety. Concrete is used to build innovative and large-scale constructions such as nuclear power plants, dams, and bridges, which drives researchers to focus more on concrete research. Technical offices do structural calculations based on traditional mechanical parameters (yield strength, compressive strength, bending strength, etc, the builder choose the type of concrete from which to construct his construction.
