The aim of this project is to study finite simple groups. All groups of order at most 60 have been checked for being simple or not. In addition, some special orders are considered for this property. This involves usage of basic concepts of group theory like normal subgroups, p-groups, Sylow theorems etc. In addition, some results in this direction are compiled. The study of celebrated classification of finite simple groups has been attempted and studied to a considerable extent.en_US
