The present study has the unique aim to investigate the role of transfer facilities towards Kolkata Metro Stations, especially those which are going to be Multilevel Junctions in the next few years which will connect the greater Kolkata in the meantime. There are several Transfer facility’s Qualitative attributes determined, ‘Safety’, ‘Environment’, ‘Fare’, ‘Accessibility’, ‘Comfort’, ‘Information System’, ‘Transit option’. The satisfaction & importance values are diverse across, ‘Gender’, ‘Age’, this study explores the relationship between passenger’s behavioural intentions and factors influencing them, including transfer facility’s perceived value in the means of satisfaction & importance. It examines the significance of passenger behavioural intentions in public transportation services. This study uses commuters survey data from the Kolkata Mass Rapid Transit (KMRT) and by using the Decision tree, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling, Linear regression model. The results show the statistical significance regarding the transit option and safety in the scale of satisfaction for small causal interactions, discuss managerial implications and the importance of factors are all highly prioritized with no such statistically significantly diverse effect on perceived importance from each other. The findings justify the need of transit option and safety needed to improvise and raise awareness for environment of Kolkata metro.
