| Abstract: | The Integrated e-Challan System for Traffic Management is a computerized system that uses advanced technologies such as computer vision and machine learning to detect traffic violations and generate fines automatically. This system aims to improve traffic safety and efficiency by reducing the number of traffic violations and accidents, and by streamlining the process of issuing fines and collecting revenue. The system is designed to capture images and videos of vehicles and traffic violations using high-quality cameras and sensors installed on roads and traffic signals. These images are then processed using object detection algorithms, which can identify various objects such as vehicles, pedestrians, and traffic signs. Once a traffic violation is detected, the system generates an e-Challan, which is sent to the registered mobile number or email address of the vehicle owner. The Integrated e-Challan System offers several benefits, such as improved traffic safety, reduced workload for traffic police officers, and increased revenue for governments. However, the system also faces several challenges, such as the need for high-quality cameras and sensors, robust algorithms that can handle various weather and lighting conditions, and data security and privacy concerns. Overall, the Integrated e-Challan System for Traffic Management is a promising solution for improving traffic safety and efficiency in modern cities. With the continued advancement of computer vision and machine learning technologies, the system is likely to become even more accurate and efficient in the future. |
