| Abstract: | This thesis presents a comprehensive study of the role of PMSM motors in hybrid vehicles, emphasizing their contribution to regenerative braking and energy storage systems. By storing energy generated during braking in a supercapacitor and utilizing this energy during acceleration, the overall efficiency and performance of hybrid vehicles are significantly enhanced. The findings of this research highlight the potential of PMSM motors, supercapacitors, and fuel cells to work in harmony, offering a sustainable and efficient solution for modern transportation needs. The integration of these technologies not only improves fuel efficiency and reduces emissions but also paves the way for future advancements in hybrid and electric vehicle design. Furthermore, the regenerative braking system reduces wear on traditional braking components, extending their lifespan and reducing maintenance costs. This aspect is particularly important in the design of sustainable transportation solutions, where minimizing environmental impact and operational costs are key considerations. |
