Due to environmental concerns and government policies, petroleum-based plastic packaging materials are continuously disfavored. Hence, paper-based packaging materials are in huge demand due to their non-toxic, biodegradable, and sustainable nature, contributing to the circular economy of a nation. Paper based packaging demand is increasing so; we are interested in low cost alternative fibrous materials as wood is expensive due to high demand. Therefore, non-woody fibrous have great potential to replace woody fibrous for papermaking. The objective of this project is to make high strength paper which can be used as an E-commerce packaging application from non-woody material as alternative of woody material as well as indigenous also. And the high strength paper made from non-woody material should have equivalent mechanical properties as of woody material.en_US
