| Abstract: | Lignin, which is burned off as waste paper in allied industries, produces a lot of harmful gases that result in the greenhouse effect and global warming. Since lignin is the most common natural polymer and has a high carbon content with an abundance of functional groups, As energy demand is increasing, we want a source that is environmentally friendly and economically efficient. Ligninis represented as an alternative to metal oxide in conductive polymers, which reduces the cost of conductive polymers. In my research, I extracted lignin from industrial black liquor and modified lignin to increase sulfur content in lignin, which helps in synthesis to enhance a slight increase in conductivity. Further, I used CNT to enhance conductivity at the desired peak. Characterization analysis of kraft lignin and conductive resin, FTIR, TGA, DSC, GPC, DLS, zeta potential, FESEM, and XRD all confirmed that our conductive resin and kraft lignin have good electrical conductivity. |
