| dc.description.abstract | Power amplifiers play a vital role in modern communication systems, where achieving a balance between linearity and efficiency is crucial. However, operating amplifiers in non-linear regions to achieve high efficiency can compromise their linearity. To overcome this challenge, digital predistortion (DPD) techniques have emerged as effective solutions, offering improved linearity while maintaining high efficiency. The integration of DPD algorithms on RFSoC leverages its high-performance processing capabilities and flexibility.In this paper implemented Digital Predistortion (DPD) using petalinux on ZCU216 board. An embedded Linux software development kit (SDK) called Petalinux is intended for FPGA-based system-on-a-chip (SoC) or FPGA architectures. PetaLinux is a set of simplified commands that can be used to quickly and easily make custom Linux systems/images for Xilinx boards. This is a collection of advanced commands that are integrated into the Yocto Linux distribution. For Xilinx processing systems, it enables the customisation, development, and deployment of Linux images and embedded Linux solutions.The implementation involves designing the DPD algorithm, configuring the RFSoC hardware, and integrating the software components within the PetaLinux framework.Here implemented some DPD models like MP and GMP etc.Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed solution in mitigating nonlinear distortions and achieving significant improvements in signal linearity. | en_US |
