Title: OPERATION AND CONTROL OF GRID INTEGRATED SMART CHARGING SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Authors: Singh, Ravi Prakash

Abstract: In order to address concerns about the range and lengthy charging time of electric cars (EVs), a promising infrastructure for EV charging is needed before EVs can be successfully introduced into the market. Battery swapping stations have the potential to be a successful way to deal with the lengthy wait times involved in EV battery charging. This kind of station needs a business and operating model that will enable it to generate profit And provide a quick and dependable substitute for battery charging in order to be implemented successfully. Battery swapping stations facilitate the quick exchange of used batteries for new ones, providing a service similar to conventional petrol refilling stations. In addition to providing convenience for customers, this infrastructure supports grid stability under peak load conditions by virtue of battery-to-grid (B2G) capabilities. Additionally, batteries can be charged using grid-to-battery (G2B) mode during off-peak hours. This allows for the optimisation of operations by utilising solar energy and Day-ahead pricing.
