Abstract: The invention pertains to a stone paper substance, specifically a completely biodegradable stone paper substance and a preparation technique. When creating stone paper, a completely biodegradable polymer is used as the carrier, and then plasticizers, bulking agents, coupling reagents, dispersing agents, and inorganic fillers are added. According to the fully biodegradable stone paper material, the issue that the current stone paper, which uses conventional plastic polyethylene as the carrier, is not biodegradable is solved. The fully biodegradable stone paper material is completely biodegradable; additionally, the preparation method is straightforward to use and realize. The completely biodegradable stone paper material is easily popularised and applied because it can be moulded through blowing in a standard low-density polyethylene membrane-blowing machine. The equipment doesn't need to be improved, the blowing process is straightforward, the cost is low, and the equipment investment is minimal. Stone paper is proposed to be prepared via solvent casting on a lab scale. In the solvent casting method, a polymer is mixed with a volatile solvent to form a low-viscosity, homogeneous solution and cast onto a petri-dish. The solution is left to dry for several hours, where the solvent evaporates, leaving behind a film adhering to the petri-dish that may or may not be porous. This film or sheet will have properties like industrial-scale stone paper.
