PLANNING FOR INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT OF NALGONDA DISTRICT, ANDHRA PRADESH

Abstract

The integrated district development plan of Nalgonda district is organized by broad topics or sections (i.e., systems and their subsystems). For each broad topic, there are goals and objectives that identify a wide range of, programs and policies to realize the vision. Each section ends with a summary matrix that identifies specific actions with priorities and responsible parties. The priority scale (high, medium, and low) roughly indicates either importance for development, and was set consideration of the public. The Nalgonda district development plan has been drafted with wide range of viewpoints to discuss the future of the Nalgonda district, to provide plans and policies, and to focus on the development priorities for the district. The vision is a broad statement about the future of the 4 district. The action plan includes supporting goals and objectives and identifies specific policies, guidelines, strategies, and projects that will be implemented in order to achieve the vision.
