Abstract: The aim of dissertation is to design single carrier frequency domain equalization system using space time block coding, zero-forcing equalizer, minimum mean square error equalizer and receiver diversity which provides satisfactory performance over slow fading channel environment. The performance evaluation will be checked through the MATLAB R2009b simulator. There are comparisons of performance among lxi (Tx-Rx) single carrier frequency domain equalization system, 2x1(Tx-Rx) single carrier frequency domain equalization system using space time block codes, 1x2 (Tx-Rx) single carrier frequency domain equalization system IF using maximum ratio receiver combining technique and 2x2(,Fx-Rx) single carrier frequency domain equalization system using space time block codes and maximum ratio receiver combining technique. We described the design of single carrier frequency domain equalization system using transmitter diversity technique, receiver diversity technique and combination of both transmitter and receiver techniques. We have compared the performance of these systems using zero-forcing equalizer, minimum mean square error equalizer in slow fading environment
