Title for my M.Tech thesis is Analysis of Wave Propagation in one dimensional cracked waveguide. Objective of my thesis is to find availability of crack in structure by using wave propagation technique. Wave propagation is path by which wave travels without damaging structure. Wave Propagation is comes under Ultrasonic testing of Non-destructive Technique (NDT).The problem statement for my thesis is Finite Element Analysis of one dimensional isotropic cantilever cracked beam when modulated sine force is applied.FEM analysis of problem goes through some steps: calculaing modulated sine force for generating flcxural wave using MATLAB coding, the modeling and analysis of cantilever beam using ANSYS APDL. In analysis I consider healthy and cracked cantilever bcam, cvaluate results for healthy beam cracked beam and also took many cases of crack of various crack sizes and orientation to check variation in plot due to various crack sizes.l plot results of time Vs Velocity for each case. Then compare results of healthy cantilever beam with crack beam i.e.availability of crack by giving second lobe in time Vs velocity plot.ln last step there is FFT analysis for each case for getting frequency Plot.So In my thesis it gives total scenario of effect of wave propagation in cracked structure for finding cracksen_US
