Abstract: Presently, Sensors are used in most of everyday objects. 1-ugh sensitivity, fast response, High selectivity, low cost etc. are the key necessities for a good sensor. In literature, there are numerous papers on sensor materials and technolgies. These days Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are more popular sensor materials because of its distinctive properties. In this dissertation, Characterization of differnet metal-CNT contacts is done. For this, fabrication of two terminal metal-CNT contact device is done using two CNT suspension with Triton X-100 and DMF, and with different concentrations of CNTs. CNT suspension is dispersed in between two electrodes and augment between electodes is done using 1 MHz sinusoid. The behavior of fabricated device is explained as two back to back schottky diode. The height of schottky barrier is calculated which can be further utilized to determine presence of different gases.
