The ArcGIS is a versatile and user friendly GIS application that have been adopted to I provide an appropriate framework through the manipulating, visualizing and spatial analysis to support management and decision making process relevant to irrigation management.ArcGIS application includes an integrated macro development environment, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) through which ArcGIS can be customized effectively. The customization of ArcGIS with VBA for irrigation management is more powerful and effective when dealing with spatial andcornplex temporal irrigation data. The irrigation management regarding information and management on irrigation requirements on cropped fields is more beneficial with the use of A GIS based graphical 4 user interface for irrigation management. In this study, a GIS based graphical user interface for irrigation management is designed and developed within ArcGIS customizing using VBAcapable of simulating irrigation water requirements spatially. After developing the interfacetool it was used to produce rainfall, reference evapotranspiration and irrigation requirement mapsuseful in decision making processin irrigation management.en_US
