Abstract: | Magnetometric Resistivity Method is based on measurement of low level(lOOmilligamma) and low frequency(l-5Hz) magnetic field based on direct current flow in the ground In this method we measure the magnetic field in the vicinity of one or more grounded electrodes. It has been shown that horizontally layered earth yields no MMR anomaly. The characteristic anomaly for vertical and dipping contact are represented in detail. The two factors on which MMR anomaly basically depends are-geometry and conductivity contrast. To illustrate the effect of geometry, types curves are given for very large conductivity contrast and ancillary curves gives gives conductivity contrast |
