Work has been carried out in the area Pun, Odisha. lilies in the eastern part of India. Tectonic geornorphology is the interaction between the tectonic and geomorphic processes. A landfonTl is developed due to tectonics. Given selected attributes of tectonic landforrns, can one find out the corresponding tectonic history or similarly given information about the tectonic history, can one find out how the landforms will evolve? Studies of tectonic geornorphology can discern the nature, timing, and distribution of faulting and seismicity that have occurred over tens of thousands of years. Studies have been made on the subsurface nature of the area by using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). The two subsurface normal faults were delineated namely Kushabhadra fault (KBFt) and Beruhan fault (BHFt). So by study of the neotectonism of the area and influence of the tectonically adverse features on the sedimentation pattern and geornorphology. It provides the evidences of neotectonism. So it can be an implication to study the east coast tectonism of India.en_US
