In this dissertation work we have studies gravity data using fractal statistics. We have designed a program which can generate IFS images for input gravity data using four IFS rules and five different coarse graining explained in this thesis. The program is simple, yet versatile. It imports data from .xls file which adds to its simplicity, and gives good quality .png images as output. The window size and shift of the window should be chosen smartly to get optimum results. We found that gravity data possess fractal properties but their application is subject to the further development of the concept of fractals.en_US
