Abstract: This dissertation presents an efficient algorithm/code and workfiow for Iterated Function Systems (IFSs) analysis on Earthquake sequences. IFS links nature to fractals thus, the earthquake sequences with their parameters like magnitude, focal depth can be linked to other currently known fractals and therefore the properties of that fractal pattern can be implied on the earthquake sequences. The patterns may or may not vary from region to region but we have considered a world scenario and variations that occur because of the earthquakes to give an overall picture of the data. IFS are of two types Random and Data-driven. We are focussed on Data-driven as the earthquake parameters will be deciding the generation of IFS pattern as in they will governing the rules that are to be followed.
