Abstract: | In 2009 GOCE satellite gravity mission was launched to measure gravity gradient with the quality of high spatial resolution and of high accuracy. It can give better understanding and better fr modelling of earth's Interior and its dynamic processes. Its data can be combined with other gravity data like GRACE data and terrestrial gravity data. Gravity gradient shows sensitiveness with earth's density structure and upper crust. It provides geological features' (like faults, lineaments and large intrusions) edges in better resolution form. We can use potential of GOCE's gravity gradient data in identification of extent of different structures with varying densities in lower crust. In identification of basement inhomogeneity and moho topography by performing gravitational backstriping of basin using goce-based gravity map in combination with land measured gravity data or grace data, we can get lithospheric detail of crust. For modeling of basal heat flow with in basin by using grid based stochastic model (petro prob.), we can then use gravity based structure model. To calculate tectonic subsidence and tectonic heat flow this model is based on inversion of basin subsidence data. Due to effect of radiogenic element in the crystalline basement it includes the radiogenic heat, then according to radiogenic element concentration different zone can be formed. Then according to maturity Model we can define area of hydrocarbon exploration |
