dc.description.abstract | Dye is an organic or hybrid organic-inorganic species with plausible conjugation. Until the nineteen • century all the dyes were obtained from natural sources as plant, trees, vegetable and lichens. Anthocynins, curcumin and pelargonidin belong to a chief class of natural dyes. These compounds have immense interest in organic synthesis because of their various biological activities such as antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, anti hyperglycemic, anticancer, antithrombotic and antipsychotic. Besides this characteristics properties these natural dyes shows the sensing property towards the ammonia. These work as natural sensors. In vitro, number of synthetic dyes as metal- complex are synthesized to increase use in energy conversion devices such as dye sensitized solar cells, optical sensor, optical display and intercalation batteries. Ruthenium complex containing terpyridine ligand shows the considerable energy efficiency. The importances of these compounds are to overcome the energy crisis and make a signal for the alternate source of energy for the future generation. All the products were characterized by NMR, IR and l-lR-MS spectral analysis. | en_US |
