Abstract: The power system is being interconnected vast and complex system there is more probability of abnormality during the operation .The main objective of Dynamic analysis of the power system is to observe the characteristics such as voltage deviation, rotor angle deviation, critical clearing time, short circuit capacity calculation, frequency deviation, of the system under the abnormal conditions that may be occurs due faults or due to load variations. In the Chapter one, the power system stability phenomenon related concept has been discussed such as transient stability, steady state stability, small signal stability, rotor angle stability, power angle stability and voltage stability. In the second chapter, voltage stability concept has been discussed here in detail how voltage stability affects the power system performance to make the system more secure and reliable to meet the requirements. In the third chapter dynamic performance of wind farm integrated with STATCOM has been discussed in detail how the variation of wind speed affects the generation capacity of induction generator and speed of induction generator. In the fourth chapter dynamic performance of single machine infinite bus with and without power system stabilizer has been discussed in term of rotor speed deviation, rotor angle deviation and terminal voltage deviation while changing the mechanical torque input and reference input by some percentage.
