dc.description.abstractIn this dissertation a meshless algorithm for magneto-telluric modelling is implemented and its output studied for the homogeneous earth case in both TE and TM modes for different nodal densities, but keeping the grid and random nodal distribution same when comparing the output at the same nodal density. The behaviour of the meshfree output is observed. Inversion schemes like block inversion and cell inversion are studied theoretically and block inversion is suggested for the inversion of meshfree modelled data.en_US
