Abstract: Organic Thin film transistors (OTFTs) are one of the major key components of modern organic electronics. The major impact of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) emissions on public health and environment inspires extensive scientific and technical research in the field of NO2 sensing. Thin film transistors have emerged as a sensitive and reliable technique for monitoring air quality, due to their enhanced sensor response. In this dissertation, NO2 identification mechanism is discussed with thin film transistor. Dynamic response and sensitivity of the device can be defined by an analytical model and calibrate of sensitive curves between OTFT gas sensors response and different concentration of NO2.
