dc.description.abstractFrom the very beginning, analog mobile communication in case of 1G [first generation] to the recently used 4G [fourth generation] of mobile communication, the paradigm in mobile and radio access has completely been changed. Initial generations seemed to focus just on voice quality and data transmission whereas 4G communication systems deals with data rate and user experience. First two generations [1G used analog modulation around 900Mhz whereas 2G was based on GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) technology] of mobile communication were based on voice oriented wireless telephony and with the emergence of 2.5G, users were given access to data network i.e. internet access, multimedia message service and other mode in which users can transmit and receive data through the use of GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) and WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) technology[1]. With the introduction of data services to users, the need to improve the data capacity and data rate arose.en_US
