Abstract: The study carried out here reports the multi-band bandpass filter based on spoof surface plasmonic polaritons (SSPP). Keeping the ground plane unaltered, by etching a gradient corrugated structure on metal strip an efficient transition from QTEM mode of microstrip line to SSPP mode is designed. The structure reported shows that the SSPP wave is highly confined within the teeth part of corrugation. Complementary a split ring resonator with S type of shape has been etched in the ground plane to obtain a multiband bandpass filter response. We observe the excellent conversion from QTEM mode of microstrip to SSPP mode.
