dc.description.abstract | In the current field of technology, 4D (time-lapse) seismic is used as a supportive tool for oil and gas companies to manage their reservoirs. Since the use of 4D technology needs very large investment so it must be properly planned beforehand. Four time-lapse seismic surveys, used as a supportive tool on its field development plan, were provided for this research, and were qualitatively studied. Combining of Rock-physics templates (RPT) and Time-lapse Pre-stack seismic analysis was done. RPT for p-wave and s-wave; acoustic impedance (AI) and Vp/Vs ratio; AI and SI cross-plot were analyzed for different fluid substitution under different condition to characterize the reservoir and non-reservoir. Synthetic gather for the different fluid were generated to analyses the change in amplitude for different fluid substitution. Sweetness seismic attributes under different condition was generated for 1998 and 2003 seismic survey. Because of the very high background noise present in the seismic gather, a significant results was not obtained. | en_US |
