dc.description.abstract | In various fields of engineering applications, DC-DC power supplies have played a vital role. Such type of applications requires a regulated source of voltage and a steady state operation irrespective of load changes. In DC-DC power supplies, converters play a prime role to maintain the precise performance of converters dynamics. The principle goal of this examination work is to think about various control strategies actualized in switched mode control supplies specifically (sliding mode control (SMC) PID control, IMC-PID control).Control utilizations of switched mode control supplies have been generally explored.0 Three control strategies, the SMC, the PID and the IMC-PID are chosen and their impacts on DC-DC (Buck, Boost) converters are analysed. Matlab/Simulink is utilized to execute SMC, PID and IMC-PID control strategy in DC-DC buck and boost converter. In this work analysis and design of PWM dc-dc buck and boost converter is done. To analyse any system, a mathematical model and its transfer function is required. Hence, the transfer function of buck and boost converter is obtained by steady state averaging technique. By using IMC-PID, we have a faster response as comparison with the PID controller. The ISE( Integral Square Error) and IAE( Integral Absolute Error) compare with the PID and SMC controller getting a better performance of the system so we can say that PID, IMC-PID and SMC has much efficiency to control the buck and boost converters respectively. To make the system stable and operate in satisfactory mode, different types of controllers are designed. For this purpose different types of controllers are designed and the results are compared to choose the best controller | en_US |
