Modern 5G communications systems is also known as device-to- device (D2D) communi- cations system. This thesis covers a scenario where a D2D user device (UE) is managed in a no-coverage zone by e ective resource allocation of radio resources so that it com- municates to the base station (BS) through a user end relay mechanism (UE-RL) in the same network. Developed algorithm focuses on optimizing and adjusting various param- eters targeted to achieve better performance in a developed system as well as a battery dependent allocation of resources. The inference from the algorithm reveals that the per- formance is not only parameter dependent but depends on the spectrum shared by the end users. Moreover the performance also depends highly on the battery levels of the users (UE-RL) which makes it pertinent for the system to have strict power controlling policies for the sustenance of D2D communications.en_US
