Dandruff is caused by the uncontrolled growth of the scalp specific fungus Malassezia globosa and Malassezia Furfur. This fungus grows rapidly just like cells influenced by various internal and external conditions. Few factors that play a huge role are surrounding temperature, humidity, dirt based oil content on the scalp, blood circulation, food habits, and other lifestyle attributes. Most common treatment of Dandruff are Anti-Dandruff shampoos, but there is a lot of cost and side-effect associated with the same. To reduce dandruff, any formulation must contain Anti - fungal, Antimicrobial and Anti - Inflammatory properties. Through Ayurveda and previously conducted researches, it is known that Neem, Lemon and Honey showcase these properties respectively. In this study, natural means to cure Dandruff with the help of Neem, Lemon and Honey is explored. Individual studies on the three have been conducted for their properties but none have been conducted to cater to the needs of a common person focusing on the feasibility of the usage. All the three show good results in treating dandruff. Ultimately a formulation has been made containing all the three and the efficacy of the mixture is shown through pre and post application comparison in the morphology of the Dandruff causing Malassezia cells through Microscopic analysis. The results of the Anti-dandruff formulation were promising and was further supported by the differences shown in the Fungus culturing on Agar Medium both in presence and absence of the inhibiting formulation.en_US
