dc.description.abstractThis report discusses the Quasi-Z-Source Inverter topology, which overcomes the limitations of conventional inverter and Z-Source inverter. Various PWM techniques to incorporate boost factor and reduce leakage current have been discussed. Simulation for various PWM techniques to incorporate shoot-through in qZSI has been presented. The following report summarizes different topologies, their simulation results and inferences. The simulation is performed in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. The topologies are investigated for their efficiency, complexity and ease of implementation. Further plan is to implement the best topologies as hardware prototypes.en_US
