dc.description.abstractTU Dresden developed100%fiber-based biogenic materials which show superior properties being able tosubstitutefossil-basedpolymersindifferentlightweightapplications.Thus,thedeveloped cellulose filmshaveagreatpotentialtoexploitnewmarketssuchaspackagingthatrequireshigh strength propertiesaswellasbarrierproperties.Forfurtherapplication-orienteddevelopmentitisof importance toimprovetheexistingsubsequentprocesslikedewateringespeciallyintermsofprocess time andenergyconsumption.
