Abstract: Two full scale model of 3m<3m of confined masonry wall-frame connection is modelled by using TNO DIANA 9.4.4 a finite element based software. And also the results like load 4 carrying capacity, nodal displacement, stresses and forces are calculated for in-plane lateral cyclic load. Finally these results are validated from the experimental results of masonry given in the research paper by wira wijaya et al. It is observed that masonry with intermediate confinement between the wall are having far better properties than the common infill wall masonry, load carrying capacity are good for such masonry and crack appear on such structures at very late stages thus provide the better seismic performance then the common masonry
