Abstract

Phishing isawayofobtainingpersonalinformationthroughillegitimatewebsitesthatare exactly sameaslegitimatewebsite.Therearemanytechniquesavailabletodetectphishing websites, butcurrenttechniquesleavemuchtobeobtained.Aprimaryproblemisthatweb browsers relyonablacklisttodetectphishingsites,butphishingsiteshaveaveryshortlifespan only fewhourtofewdays.Afasterrecognitionsystemisneededtoidentifyzerodayphishing sites which are new phishing sites that have not yet been discovered. This researchintroducesanewmethodofdetectingillegitimatewebsitesusingSearchEngine and contentoftheE-mail.Currentphishingdetectiontechniquesareexaminedandtheproposed detection methodisimplementedandevaluatedagainstofknownphishingsiteswhiletheresults were analyzed
