Abstract: Presently TCO(Transparent Conductive Oxides) are used widely in optical and electrical applications like OLED(organic light emitting diodes),Photovolatic devices and transparent thin films due to their many merits like good chemical/thermal properties/thermal stability high transmission and conductivity.Al-ZnO has replaced ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) since it is costly in nature. We have firstly done optimization of Al-ZnO film over p-Silicon( by varying Oxygen pressure) and by observing its crystalline and optical properties(by calculating its grain size from the XRD data and bandgap of the films from Transmission Spectrum data.).Then we have observed Reflectance properties of the solarcell(with and without the Ag nanoparticles) .Also we have observed LSPR properties by observing transmission curves for various films of Ag nanoparticles deposited over the glass. At the end we have obtained the I-V- characterstics of 4 samples –p-n junction Solar Cell(primarily in the 4th quadrant we observe the characterstics) and by the help of the data we obtain the Fill Factor of the Solar Cell and the Quantum Efficiency of The Solar Cell.
