Abstract: All the reinforced concrete structures which are subjected carbonation and chlorination get affected by the corrosion of reinforcement due to which their load carrying capacity goes on decreasing with time as corrosion causes the deterioration and loss of bond between the concrete and steel. Repair of these corrosion affected structures incur additional financial cost. To have better and economical solution it is required to calculate the residual load carrying capacity of before getting actual repair. In this report methodology to calculate the residual bond strength and flexure capacity of corroded reinforced concrete beam proposed. Excel sheets are developed to calculate the flexure capacity of corroded reinforced beam and the results has been validated with experimental results of many researcher working on this field. Finite element software ATENA has been used for beam modelling.
