Issue Date: 2014
Abstract: The packed multi-partition wall dividing wall column can be used to separate more (Three or four) component mixture into the products. Dividing wall column (DWC) is used to establish an energy, space and capital cost saving. The phenomena of distillation with ever growing number and field of application. The four or more products separations that could increase the potential gains and most importantly could be arranged in an industrially viable way using ‘Packed multipartition wall dividing wall columns’ (PMDWCs). The most beneficial internal configuration of a complex dividing wall column (DWC) for separation of a multi-component aromatics mixture into four product stream. The preliminary evaluations using a short-cut method indicate that a more component of aromatics mixture can be separated very efficiently into four products. Fraction according to the given product specification employing a ‘Packed Multi-partition Wall Dividing Wall Column’. In this project the heat duty is decreasing and high purity product obtained in each side.
