A broader definition of urban development will also include investments in social and environmental services, including infrastructure which critically affects urban resident's quality of life Reducing Urban Poverty in India' Planning for the same has been variously described as "the art & science of ordering the use of land and siting of buildings and communication routes so as to secure the maximum practicable degree of economy, convenience and beauty" (Michael Stubbs & Ratcliffe,1999). It's also an attempt to formulate the principles that should guide us in creating a civilized physical background for human life, whose main impetus is thus 2foreseeing and guiding change. |
