Abstract: The search for new concrete construction material is obvious amidst growing awareness on protection of environment and conservation of natural resources. Recycling and reuse of wastes such as building rubbles, concrete lump etc. generated at construction and demolition sites forms part of a wider, complex issue, primarily relating to improving supplies of construction material and solving problems of disposal of waste construction material. In Indian context a total system for recycling and reuse of recycled aggregate in construction need to develop considering all aspects such as identification of source, collection of construction waste, aggregate preparation, mix design, design of structure and proper construction techniques so that not only recycling but proper utilization of building waste for obtaining strong and durable concrete structures. The present investigation was planned to undertake a systematic study of the fresh and hardened state properties of Recycled Aggregate Concrete. The • basic parameter of the study were type of coarse aggregate used in concrete mix and effect of addition of flyash with recycled aggregate concrete
