dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, economic dispatch problem with transmission capacity constraints has been solved accounting for the uncertainty in system load demand. The uncertainty in the load-demand has been incorporated by fuzzy membership functions. To solve this problem, fuzzy dynamic programming technique has been used. Effectiveness of using thyristor controlled series capacitor (TCSC) for achieving dispatch pattern with stringent transmission capacity constraints has been demonstrated. | en_US |
