Abstract: | INTRODUCTION Biomechanics, quite popular nowadays, is a recent addition to the sub — divisions of natural science. Biomechanics can be defined as a part of mathematics that involves the usage of the principles and methods of mathematics in biological system. Biomechanics, thus, envisages the study of mechanical properties as well as biological functions and physio - pathological consequences of objects. Profound insights into the biological basis of various areas of biomechanics require an attempt to quantify and develop biological problems in terms of mathematical models. Modeling applications have thus been used in biological research to get a concise description of complex dynamic processes and diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. |
